Lumix is the Panasonic's brand. DMC-TS30 is pretty much the same.

In good conditions, you can just barely get 110 photos on a single battery charge. (less than half that when using flash)
shooting every 15 minutes gets

MENU -> Setup -> Format Card
MENU -> Setup -> Reset Number
MENU -> Setup -> Reset (Record and Setup)
MENU -> Setup -> Clock Set (must do after setup reset because of datetime format)
MENU -> Setup -> World Time (confirm DST correct)

MENU -> Setup -> Beep -> Beep Level
MENU -> Setup -> Beep -> Shutter Vol
MENU -> Setup -> Monitor Display
MENU -> Setup -> Auto Review

Record Menu

MENU -> Rec -> White Balance -> Sun
MENU -> Rec -> AF Mode -> Spot
MENU -> Rec -> Time Lapse -> Alert -> Off
MENU -> Rec -> AF Assist Lamp -> OFF
MENU -> Rec -> Stabilizer -> OFF

Shooting Screen

Flash (Right Arrow) -> Off
Exposure Comp (Up Arrow) -> -1 (for avoiding blow-outs)

Setup Time Lapse

Check Sunrise and Sunset (err for at least an hour on either side)

MENU -> Rec -> Time Lapse Shot
MENU -> Rec -> Time Lapse Shot -> Start Time
MENU -> Rec -> Time Lapse Shot -> Number of Shots
MENU -> Rec -> Time Lapse Shot -> Alert -> OFF (this should be a confirmation; it was done in the record menu setup)
